Why We Do This
Our nonprofit began with one father’s dedication to inspiring students
through hands-on STEAM lessons. For over six years, he volunteered his
time, gathering simple supplies from his garage to bring science,
technology, engineering, and math to life in the classroom. His son soon
joined in, creating additional lessons and encouraging him to take the
next step, forming a nonprofit that could raise funds to provide
classrooms with quality STEAM kits.
Together, we now design engaging lessons not only for schools but also
for after-school programs, ensuring more students have the chance to
explore, experiment, and discover the excitement of STEAM. Our mission
is simple: to make STEAM education accessible, fun, and inspiring for
every child.

SteamEducationForAll was founded by Raul and Tavian, a father and son team
who share a deep passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and
Mathematics (STEAM). What began as a simple act of volunteering in Tavian’s
4th grade classroom, quickly grew into something much bigger.
Over time, students, teachers, and parents began to see the impact of these
creative lessons. They weren’t just about learning science, they were about
sparking curiosity, encouraging problem solving, and showing kids that learning
could be fun, interactive, and accessible to everyone.
As Tavian grew older, he joined his father in designing new lessons and
activities, helping to expand their reach to after-school programs. Recognizing the need for resources to sustain and grow their efforts,
Tavian encouraged Raul to establish a nonprofit organization. By doing so, they
could raise funds to provide classrooms with high quality STEAM kits, tools, and
materials thus ensuring that more children had the opportunity to experience
engaging, hands-on learning.
SteamEducationForAll is committed to breaking down barriers to STEAM
education. We believe every child, regardless of background or
resources, deserves access to the kind of learning that inspires creativity, builds
confidence, and prepares them for the future. Through classroom support and
after-school programs we continue to bring innovative lessons to students and
empower the next generation of thinkers, creators, and leaders.
